Authorities are looking for a driver they say threw a cat out a window on a 400 series highway Tuesday. Lincoln County Humane Society says the driver of a Nissan apparently threw a cat onto Highway 406 in Niagara, where the speed limit is 100 km/h. A witness was heading southbound when he saw the cat thrown from the driver's side window, and stopped to help. A humane society officer arrived on scene and took the cat to a St. Catharines veterinary clinic. This is the second incident of a cat being thrown out a window this week.
