(File photo)A driver remains on the run after ramming a police car and sparking a pursuit in rural Canterbury. A police spokeswoman said the driver failed to remain stopped for police in Oxford about 2pm on Tuesday, then rammed a patrol car and fled. A Darfield resident said armed police could be seen at Charing Cross, near Darfield, about 2.30pm. Police said the driver had seen a police car coming towards him on Yankee Crossing Rd, so turned onto Barnett's farm.
