The Kerala Water Authority (KWA) will implement a comprehensive drinking water project to distribute potable water to the residents in Chengannur Assembly constituency. “The project will bring an end to the drinking water woes of people in different parts of the region,” Mr. Cherian said. “It is going to be one of the biggest drinking water projects in the State. “The water will then be brought to a tank with 15 lakh litres capacity at Angadikkal. Meanwhile, the Alappuzha municipality has launched the work of a project aimed at addressing drinking water issues in the municipal area.
