The Havelock North Water Inquiry has recommended the Ministry of Health to take immediate steps to ensure wayward water suppliers are caught by the law before another outbreak of waterborne disease. The inquiry was ordered after the Havelock North drinking water supply was last year contaminated with a bacteria called campylobacter and caused wide-spread illness.
