Drilon seeks transfer of P16-B budget for LGUs to DOH 0 SHARES Share it! Drilon made the call after the DILG disowned the P16.8-billion fund, saying it has nothing to do with the implementation of the supposed fund for LGUs. Drilon said that the P16-billion is best utilized to augment the budget of the DOH to equip around 900 health facilities and finish the construction of 300 more. During the interpellation on the DILG’s budget, Drilon zeroed in on the huge increase in a lump-sum appropriation called Local Government Support Fund (LGSF), which got a budget of P40.26billion next year, up by P8.8billion based on this year’s allocation. Sen. Joseph Victor “JV” Ejercito, who defended DILG’s budget, confirmed that the agency has nothing to do with the implementation of P16.18billion other financial assistance to LGUs.
