Drake has sent a very public message to Rihanna on a billboard in Los Angeles. The Toronto rapper gave props to the Barbadian singer and frequent collaborator for the upcoming MTV Video Music Awards, where RiRi is receiving the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award. "Congratulations to Rihanna from Drake and Everyone at Ovo," the billboard, referring to the rapper's Canadian label, October's Very Own, reads in traditional cursive font. Rihanna, who is also opening Sunday's awards show, responded by posting a photo on Instagram, with the caption "When he extra!!! Of course, it's also an indirect pat on the back, since Work is also nominated for multiple VMAs, along with Drake's Hotline Bling.
