CWC authorities organized an inaugural ceremony as part of the preparations to observe the upcoming International Mother Language Day on February 21. Addressing the function, Dr Dipu Moni spoke of the historic speech of Bangabandhu and said the March 7 speech delivered by Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was recognized by Unesco and included in a list of the world’s important documentary heritages. They will lead the country through their work.”Later in the ceremony, the college authorities awarded meritorious students for their outstanding results and also presented an honorary award to Dr Dipu Moni. Professsor Harun-or-Rashid, vice chancellor of National University, and Secretary Mahmuda Sharmeen Benu, also attended the program as special guests.
