Downside Of Boeing-Airbus Duopoly Apparent When One Stumbles

Boeing had about 350 of the Max 8 aircraft flying before the crash, after which most airlines and countries, including the United States, grounded them. In the United States, American Airlines has 24 and Southwest has 34. Cars from all those foreign countries are now manufactured in the United States and the U.S. companies manufacture outside our borders. In addition, it could mean additional exports, if some of those jets are sold to airlines outside of the United States. That becomes all the more obvious when, in a duopoly, one of the two stumbles, as has happened now.
