Doping offender Sara Errani given ASB Classic wildcard

Doping offender Sara Errani given ASB Classic wildcardGETTY IMAGES Itallian Sara Errani will be making her fifth appearance at the ASB Classic after being given a wildcard. Sara Errani has been given a wildcard for next week's women's ASB Classic. The International Tennis Federation appointed an independent tribunal which came to the conclusion that there were no performance enhancing benefits for Errani in taking letrozole. The Classic will be the first tournament to give her a wildcard since her return. It's not out of the question that a Kiwi will get a main draw wildcard either, with Jade Lewis, Erin Routliffe and Paige Hourigan all in contention.
