Washington: US President Donald Trump is “proud” of his son-in-law and senior advisor Jared Kushner for being transparent about his interaction with Russians, which lay out everything clear to expose the “witch hunt” that the probe has been, a White House official has said. Talking to the press at the White House after the meeting, he said that he is innocent and has done nothing wrong. The senior White House advisor said he has been consistently saying that he was eager to share any information he has with the investigating bodies ever since the allegations were raised against him. However, the Democratic National Committee (DNC) termed Kushner claiming to be transparent by going to the Senate is laughable. “Once again, the Trump team is laughably trying to redefine transparency as disclosing information after you have been caught lying,” DNC deputy communications director Adrienne Watson said.
