The Berlin State Office and Berlin District Court building is a beautiful, high tech, state of the art entity, a plus for the city. City Council could help with start up funds (as they did for farmers market), hire a pipe organ expert and go from there. The one-party monopoly in city hall and union monopoly of city employees equals the highest tax rate in New Hampshire. The present Main Street Program is doing a valiant job of keeping Main Street alive. A hundred years ago, most people could walk to Main Street; now they live miles away.
