Don’t abuse social media, RMAF personnel warned - Nation

IPOH (Bernama): Young Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) personnel have been reminded to use social media networks prudently to avoid getting into untoward situations. RMAF chief General Tan Sri Affendi Buang said young airmen must comply with existing rules and regulations. “Social media sites should not be abused by military personnel to the detriment of their selves or their service,” he told reporters after a Series 59/2018 passing out parade at the Ipoh Air Force Academy here Saturday. A total of 308 recruits successfully completed six months of basic military training from July 7 on various fields such as physical training, marching, weapons training, field training, military ethics, public knowledge and human capital. The plan involves the restructuring of team assets and human resources to ensure that the RMAF continues to be relevant to geopolitical developments.
