The driver of the vehicle crashed into the house around 11.30pm yesterday on the corner of Ruapehu St and Riwai St, Paraparaumu. "During the crash, a person driving this vehicle lost control and crashed through the side of a house causing extensive damage to the address and injuring a dog that had been sleeping on a chair inside," police said in a statement.
