North Korea has made great strides in both its nuclear and ballistic missile technology. The meeting alone confers great legitimacy on the North Korean leader, but Trump is clearly willing to make that concession for a sit-down. Still, give Trump credit: He has been willing to reverse his own position, and undercut our credible commitment to allies in the region.
