Panfilo Lacson raised suspicions that these could have been overpriced. Duque told The Manila Times he will review the prices along with the Department of Finance, which negotiates the payment for the vaccines. "Kailangan ireview ang pricing (There is a need to review the pricing) [with the Department] of Finance. Must ensure there is no overpricing," Duque said. But he added that he cannot fully disclose the exact pricing of vaccines because of the nondisclosure agreements that the government signed with the manufacturers.
