Winnipeg police dive teams combed the waters of the Red River near the Fort Garry Bridge Friday morning after reports of something "suspicious" in the water. An identification unit truck was among the numerous police vehicles parked near the Fort Garry Bridge on Thursday. Police guarded a stretch of the riverbank overnight Thursday after something was spotted in the murky waters near Bishop Grandin Boulevard and River Road. Police have not released details about what they're looking for yet but an update is expected Friday. Investigators remain on the scene Friday.
