Ditch the shoes, don wellies on Wow dayEmbrace FARM, Ireland’s only support network for farm families, is inviting everyone to join in the inaugural Embrace FARM Wear Our Wellies (Wow) Day on January 31st to raise vital funds for the organisation. Schools, businesses, groups, and individuals are encouraged to wear their wellies wherever they are on January 31st — be it the office, college, classroom, supermarket, or the main street! This fundraiser encourages those from urban and rural communities to raise funds to support Irish farm families impacted by serious injury and sudden death. Embrace FARM is a not-for-profit organisation founded in 2014 by husband and wife Brian and Norma Rohan following the loss of Brian’s father Liam in a farming accident. The organisation has engaged more than 400 farm families with its comforting and supportive embrace along with practical support in the aftermath of a traumatic incident.
