A man has been arrested on suspicion of assault after a referee was attacked at a youth football game. The attack, which left the 50-year-old official with facial injuries, happened during the match between Diss Town U13s and Spixworth U13s and led to the abandonment of the game. We have reached out to Diss to apologise and will cooperate with all investigations.”
