Brazilian keeper Cavalieri last played for Fluminense last year, having been on Liverpool's books between 2008 and 2010. He made just eight appearances for Liverpool, though, all of which came outside of the Premier League. Asked if Cavalieri would have much playing time between now and the end of the season, Hodgson added: "We've only got two senior goalkeepers so his chances are great."
