The NFF stands for the Nigerian Football Federation, the body responsible for organising domestic and international football in Nigeria. Although now we could just replace that acronym with the Nigerian Fraudulent Federation or better still, Nigeria’s Federation of Fraudsters. I’m sure you heard of the Japanese surgeon, Katsuya Takasu, who promised to reward the Nigerian Dream Team at the end of the Olympics? Having won their match against Honduras on Saturday to clinch the Bronze medal, Dr. Takasu fulfilled his promise by rewarding Nigeria’s Dream Team VI with the sum of $390,000. And of course, the NFF president had to weigh in:Pinnick: "Nigeria is a sovereign nation and such a donation must go through a process.
