A teenager from Dhaka has gone missing after he went swimming at the beach in Cox’s Bazar. Sudipta Dey, 17, was dragged away by the tides after he went to swim with friends at the beach’s Laboni Point around 10am Tuesday, police said. Cox’s Bazar Tourist Police Senior Assistant Superintendent Raihan Kazemi said police were looking for him at the sea. The teen was staying with his family at the Laboni Motel. The motel’s manager Rashedul Alam said Sudipta and his family and friends, a group of seven people, arrived at the motel on Tuesday morning.
