On Oct 14, Abdur Rouf, the managing director of DMTCL, revealed that around 200,000 tickets for one-way trips were retained by metro rail users. Two boxes have been placed at the Agargaon station by the ticket machine operator to facilitate the return of the tickets. Authorities have installed 32 boxes, placing two at each of the 16 metro rail stations, according to DMTCL MD Rouf. HOW SO MANY TICKETS WERE TAKENThere are two types of tickets available to metro rail users: the Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) pass and single-journey tickets.
