The Local Government Engineering Department (LGED) has taken initiatives to hand over the Moghbazar-Mouchak flyover to the Dhaka city corporations. But the Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) mayor is for observing the situation for some more time, while the Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) panel mayor says the flyover is not within his purview. Project Director and LGED Engineer Sushanta Kumar Pal said the flyover fell within the purview of the two city corporations. “It was decided to hand over the flyover to the city corporations quickly after inauguration,” he said. Project Director Sushanta said the city corporations would be given responsibility of the stretches that fell within their purview.
