At least 152 hajis have not returned to Bangladesh after performing Hajj in Saudi Arabia this year. Out of the total number, the passports of 131 dead hajis were found but 21 others remain traceless because neither their death certificates nor passports were handed over to Bangladesh authorities. According to the sources, the passports of only 131 hajjis were handed over this year. In a statement on Wednesday, Hajj Camp Director Saiful Islam asked the people concerned to collect the passports and death certificates of the hajjis from the Ashkona camp. The list of deceased hajjis can be found at the website of the ministry.
