Dhaka University (DU) authorities have announced the ‘Gha unit’ first-year admission test results earlier than usual amid protests in campus over alleged question paper leak. While the university took three to four days to announce the results of the other units this year and sent a press release 24 hours beforehand, the Gha unit results were published within two days of the test. The university press office sent out a release on Sunday morning. The protesters demanded the formation of a probe committee for a thorough investigation of the question leak allegation. They said it could be manipulated somehow.”“We’ll take necessary steps in case we find anyone involved with the question paper leak,” he added.
