Video shows a brave dog owner dive into a deadly river during a rainstorm to save his pet after it slipped into the fast-flowing water. Without think of his own safety, Ms Calderon dives into the rushing water in a desperate bid to save his dog. Mr Calderon told reporters: 'I was focused on the dog. Local media report Mr Calderon grew up by himself as he was abandoned by his parents. Hector Valdes, the Mayor of the city, told local media that Mr Calderon had joined the Department of Animal Welfare.
