Because of that experience, I've been excited whenever a new DMC is released, and the release of DMC 5 was no different. I don't think it's overstating the positive to suggest DMC 5 might be the most attractive action game I've seen. V is one of the more annoying characters I've seen in an action game. You're supposed to be driven by unlocking his motives, but instead, I didn't really care. Instead of being a masterful and complete action game, it's instead far more shallow than it could have been.
