On January 6, 2026, officers from the Nevada Violent Offenders Task Force (NVOTF) located her residence. The task force approached the property at about 3:05 PM to execute the arrest warrant. She was then placed in a vehicle by a Task Force Officer and transported to the Federal Courthouse in Las Vegas. Following this, Tamakloe-Attionu was transferred to the Henderson Detention Center, a US Marshals Service contracted facility, where she spent the night. The next morning, January 7, 2026, Henderson Police Department escorted her back to the Federal Courthouse for official booking into US Marshals custody.
