He implied that if Kufuor's commendable administration could not achieve this feat, it would be even more challenging for Akufo-Addo, whose tenure he deemed a failure. When the host interjected, noting that Akufo-Addo was not heading into opposition but was rather concluding his two-term presidency, Ibrahim reiterated his point. “Even with Kufuor, who had a better government and administration, he couldn’t break the eight," he stressed. The NPP aims to "break the eight" with their flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
