Morecambe boss Derek Adams admitted he was disappointed not to see his struggling side take maximum points after they were held to a 1-1 Sky Bet League Two draw with Cambridge at the Globe Arena. Adams had seen his side take the lead with Adam Phillips’ third goal in four games at the start of the second half only for Harvey Knibbs to end Cambridge’s recent run of defeats with a leveller after 68 minutes. “But then our passing wasn’t as crisp as it has been and in the second half we went really deep.
