Mazlan said becoming the Deputy IGP had been the best privilege of his career. “However, Tan Sri Hamid is a fine character and I accepted the challenge, ” the country’s number two cop recounted. Mazlan said his father (the late Tan Sri Mansor Mohd Noor) had retired as the Internal Security and Public Order department director. “In the end, it is not what the force can do for you that matters, but what you can do for the force, ” he said.
