CAIRO – 9 February 2021: A dentist has been referred to the Specialized Criminal Court over sexually assaulting four men as the prosecution awaits a forensic report after the defendant underwent a medical examination to check whether he practiced habitual same sex relations. According to a Tuesday statement by the prosecution, six witnesses have testified against the celebrity dentist, Bassem N., and have handed out videos of his sexual practices. The videos, as well as other evidence supporting the claims on the defendant’s phone have been sent to a technical group to ensure their authenticity. Four victims have come forward so far, with all of them saying he forcibly grasped their private parts while in his clinic, then asked them to engage in sexual relations with him. Bassem N. was arrested at his clinic on Jan. 25 over accusations of sexually harassing five men.
