Yesterday, Egypt’s Minister of Trade and Industry Nevine Gamea stated that the first shipments of locally produced orange have been exported to the Brazilian market. These shipments represent the first of the new season going to the South American country. Gamea noted that this success comes as part of the free trade agreement signed between Egypt and Mercosur countries. The minister noted the importance of this agreement in opening new markets to Egyptian products, particularly in South America. Al-Sigini pointed out that the Ministry of Trade and Industry’s Foreign Trade and Agreements Sector held a series of meetings with Egyptian businessmen and exporters.
