Hindon airport is ready for the first commercial flight from tomorrow, 11th October. Reducing the load at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport, Hindon will serve as the ‘second’ airport. Hindon airport, which is around 40 kms from the IGI Airport in Delhi, belongs to the Indian Air Force (IAF) and the AAI has developed a civil enclave inside it. On 8 March 2018, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had inaugurated the new civil enclave at Hindon airport.
