Two women were rewarded by the Delhi Police for showing exemplary courage and thwarting snatchers who tried to attack them in separate incidents in East Delhi's Shahdara area. Ranjana, 29, had on April 6 gone to the Punjab National bank along with her mother to withdraw Rs 30,000. Rinki was talking on the phone when two men on a motorcycle came next to the rickshaw and tried to snatch her phone. Rinki pulled down the pillion rider and the rider lost the balance and the bike fell down. Both the women showed great presence of mind and courage to fight back the attackers.
