Roop Prakash, a labourer who lost his leg after he jumped to save himself during a major fire in Bawana Industrial Area, has returned back to his village at Unnao in Uttar Pradesh. Family members of Prakash said that he feared losing his other leg and hence decided to return. Prakash lost three of his family members including his real brother in the fire but the fear of losing another life has taken him back to his village in Unnao. "Bawana has thousands of factories but the number of applications received is very less compared to the number. Even in Sultanpuri, the factory was illegally functioning without a valid fire NOC," said Atul Garg, Fire Chief.
