(Source: PTI)Delhi Congress chief Ajay Maken, along with party workers, held a protest Saturday at Jantar Mantar against the central government’s decision to implement the recommendations of the 7th Pay Commission. Terming the announcement a “betrayal”, Maken said the 7th Pay Commission had recommended a 14.27 per cent hike in the salaries of government employees, which was the “lowest”, compared to the recommendations of the previous Pay Commissions. Maken also questioned the “silence” of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal who, he said, “clashes with the Modi government on every issue.”
