(David Bell/CBC - image credit)A 39-year-old man is dead after two motorcycles were involved in a collision on Deerfoot Trail on Saturday morning, Calgary police said. Police say they believe the victim was riding his motorcycle in the middle lane traveling southbound on Deerfoot Trail when he braked sharply in response to slowing traffic. The 44-year-old was transported to hospital with minor injuries and has since been released. Southbound Deerfoot Trail at Peigan Trail S.E., and Westbound Peigan Trail at Deerfoot Trail S.E., were closed earlier but have since reopened.
