A 'very deep' sink hole has opened near the corner of Mt Albert and Sandringham Roads in Auckland today. The fire service was called to the scene after the sink hole appeared just after 4pm. A spokesman said the hole was about four metres by four metres, and "very deep." It had been cordoned off, and was being dealt with by Auckland Council. - NZ Herald
