MEXICO CITY—The death toll in the crash of a passenger jet in Cuba last week has risen to 111 following the death Monday of one of three survivors in the hospital. The 23-year-old died of her injuries, her medical team confirmed Monday, according to Cuban state media. The Mexican airline involved in a plane crash in Havana has to prove that it operates in accordance with regulations. Despite the efforts of the medical team, it was not possible to save her life, the Cuban Ministry of Public Health said in a statement read on state television. Two other women who survived the crash — a 19-year-old and a 37-year-old — remain in a critical condition in hospital.
