Still, it's a common enough mistake, we should give them that:Nationally, clean energy jobs outnumber fossil fuel jobs by more than 2.5 to 1, according to a new Sierra Club analysis of Department of Energy jobs data. Now, imagine that we got the same portion of our energy from clean energy as we do from dirty. Clean energy jobs, including from solar, wind,energy efficiency, smart grid technology and batterystorage, vastly outnumber all fossil fuel jobsnationally from the coal, oil and gas sectors. But that's evidence of how expensive renewables are, not how cheap.
