About three years ago, a new doctor was posted to our hospital. He had a way of making people feel comfortable and seen, and it wasn’t long before he built close relationships with many staff members. We had all kept our relationships secret, thinking we were protecting something special. As we speak, he has not yet returned to work, but we are considering confronting him publicly and reporting him to hospital authorities. We believe his actions are not only unethical but also a serious abuse of trust and professional boundaries.
