Some Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs), including Star Oil, have adjusted their prices, now selling petrol at GH¢12.49 per litre and diesel at GH¢15.99 per litre, compared to the previous GH¢14.36. At GOIL, petrol is currently priced at GH¢11.57 per litre, while diesel sells at GH¢14.35 per litre. Refined product prices on the global market have surged significantly with diesel up by 43%, LPG by 23.96% and petrol up by 19.41%. Crude oil prices also spiked in mid-March 2026, rising from $71.41 to $86.55 per barrel, further fueling the upward trend in local pump prices.
