Libyan Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Dbeibah, met with Minister of State for Displaced Affairs and Human Rights, Jamal Abu Grein, and financial advisor Mohammed Al-Shahoubi to discuss issues related to displaced persons from the eastern and southern regions. The meeting, held on Monday, reviewed progress in implementation plans and mechanisms adopted to address these files. Dbeibah stressed the need to enhance coordination among relevant authorities to facilitate procedures and accelerate service delivery. The discussions also covered the situation of displaced people from several cities, including Benghazi and Murzuq, as well as humanitarian and living challenges and ways to address them to improve their conditions. The meeting further addressed financial entitlements for displaced persons from the eastern region, reviewing ongoing arrangements in coordination with the Ministry of Social Affairs, with an emphasis on updating databases to ensure accuracy and proper distribution of support.
