Day schools in Kirinyaga post impressive KCSE resultsMaster Morris Njoka Njoki from Rukenya Day Mixed Secondary school in Kirinyaga East Sub-county who scored grade A- [Munene Kamau, Standard]In Kirinyaga County, day secondary schools posted impressive results in the just released KCSE examination. Other day mixed secondary schools that recorded good results are Kiandieri, Gachatha and Kiaritha with each having a student or two scoring A-. Kabare Girls High School, a national school, managed 18 (A–) and 36 (B+) while the mean score improved from 7.77 last year to 8.802. The school's team leader Sarah Muriithi attributed the good grades to hard work, diligence and fear of God and students discipline. The Effort Senior School had a student who scored B- being its best performer in the examination.
