Pipa News |The Ukrainian flag was raised on Tuesday at the Federal Building in Edmonton as part of the celebration of the Day of the State Flag of Ukraine. A crowd in blue and yellow tones came out to raise the flag and perform the anthem of Ukraine. “Today we celebrate the Day of the State Flag of Ukraine, and this is a very important holiday, especially now, when we are fighting against Russian aggression,” said Alexander Danileiko, Consulate General of Ukraine in Edmonton. “We feel the support of Alberta, the local government and, most importantly, the people of Alberta.”Wednesday – Independence Day of Ukraine.
