The student of a school in Bally, Howrah, whose request to appear in the Madhyamik exams had been “turned down” by the school will be able to write the exams. Officials of the school met the girl at her house on Wednesday night and got her examination form filled. The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education received the form and other documents late at night and on Thursday afternoon handed over the admit card to the girl’s father, a board official said. The board issues an admit card to a student after the school sends his/her filled in examination form within a stipulated time. But they did nothing about it.”The school should have informed the board about the developments concerning the student, the board official said.
