Davies: 'New season shaping up to be a hell of a ride' for Slough Town

The National League South season is shaping up to be 'a hell of a ride' for Slough Town fans, according to player manager Scott Davies after the Rebels retained the core of last season's squad and added three quality names to it last week. Davies managed to hold onto the majority of last season's squad - with a few notable exceptions such as player coach Lee Togwell - and last week the club signed Gary Abisogun and Dan Bayliss from Bracknell Town and Nathan Minhas from Beaconsfield Town. Having already added Mickel Platt from Bracknell Town and Jeanmal Prosper from Chesham United to the Rebels' roster, the 2023/24 season is shaping up to be a potentially exciting one. The three players in Dan, Gary and Mickel joining from Bracknell Town all add to the squad in different ways. We’ll do our bit on the pitch, you do your bit off it and let’s make it a season to remember.”
