BINTULU: There is a David and Goliath battle shaping up in Bintulu with a 30-year-old first-timer from Sarawak DAP taking on a 56-year old, four-term MP who is a Barisan Nasional component party president and a powerful business tycoon. New commercial and residential areas in Bintulu point to the growing development of the town. During a recent visit to the rural areas of Bintulu, Tiong lambasted the Opposition for what he said was their ungratefulness to the government. Bintulu DAP will bank on the many current issues facing the people to urge voters to vote for change. Ching Sing said Sarawak DAP sees the voters opting for changes against Barisan this time around.
