West Ham are aiming to end the uncertainty over their managerial situation in the next fortnight and will give themselves time to pursue other options before deciding whether to offer David Moyes a new contract. Final talks are expected between Moyes and David Sullivan, the West Ham co‑owner, in the middle of next week, giving both parties enough time to think things through properly. West Ham have also been linked with former Paris Saint-Germain manager Unai Emery. The 55-year-old’s contract expired after the 3-1 victory on Sunday against Everton and, although he saved West Ham from relegation, he is expected to be looking for a new job soon. West Ham are also interested in Newcastle United’s Rafael Benítez and have held informal talks with Manuel Pellegrini, who has also been heavily linked with Sevilla.
